This is my project titled Evidence which incorporates themes of feminism to inform audiences of sexism and female stereotypes. The work focuses on creating a before the ’Evidence’ series of tableaux- fashion style images. The images reference the ‘perfect’ dreamlike state using colour blocking and unique styling, inspired by cartoons and cinema. This is reflected in the imperfect reality and some sort of trippy fantasy which contrasts crime and conflicts with reality, switching the audiences perception of the protagonist/ antagonist. It also challenges the perception of the audience and stereotyping; switching gender roles and focusing on power.
